Here I am again, forgetting about this place. I was on PCMech Forum, and I noticed I have this blog on my signature, so I thought while I had the time, I would make an entry.

I'm on the PCMech forum asking about adding a 3rd harddrive to my current rig. It's getting full of televisions shows and movies. I'll just leave it at that for now.

Marshal, my brother in law that started the Call of Duty 2 clan last month, has purchased a house about 2 miles away from us. It needs quite a bit of work, but it's his. It's nice to have something to show for yourself even if it isn't in the best of condition. He said it was purchased for only $130,000. The adjuster said he was stealing it at that price. Once the work is all done, it will be quite nice.

The computer I'm upgrading will now have 3 SATA drives, one of the new Seagate with perpendicular recording. This will give me a total of 820 Gb's. Currently using a Core2Duo @ 2.13 with a 7800 GS from BFG. Hopefully it will keep me happy for quite some time. Maybe a year? Who knows. All of my money SHOULD be going to the house, as we still havn't finished what we have been wanting to do. So far only the kitchen and master bath have been finished/remodled.

My wife just came home with some Taco Bell, so I'll type more later. Gotta run for the border.

I keep forgetting about this place. I'm gland no one seems to be waiting for it. Just for my own benefit. I wanted to start having some kind of place to document important events in my life, or whatever the heck I type. :D

Gotta leave a message later about the move, it was something I'd rather not have to do again, we moved in a blizzard. :P

Right now I'm gonna make a new forum for my brother in law, he started a server for Call of Duty 2 on Sunday, and we have a TeamSpeak server, and a website also. The website is just the directory so far, don't know how to do any of that yet. But the forum I've done before for other clans, so I can get this setup on Invision or some other free place.

Moving today? tomorrow?

Hey, my family is moving today or soon into our first house. I'll leave a post later describing it. Just remembered I had this site, I'll have to get into the habit of writing here.

Here I am again

Havn't made a post here in a long time, lots has changed, lots has stayed the same.

I don't work that 2nd job anymore, it was at Office Depot. Didn't really make a whole lot of money, but then again I didn't really do a whole lot of work while I was there either. I did at first, but I was working harder than people that had been there longer, and were making more, so I learned to just walk around and look busy. :D One of the guys there just walked around with the same box for about an hour, making it look like he was working frieght. :P I quit around August I think, can't really remember.

Got a different schedule at QuikTrip now, only working overnight twice a week rather than 4 or 5 times. Not sure I like it though, it's kinda wierd having a different shift every other day or so.

two mornings, one day off, one evening, two overnights, one day off. Kinda sucks at times, cause it seems like I'm awake at night on my day off, and can't really do anything. But I know this won't last forever.

Bought Need for Speed: Most Wanted the day it came out. Was both really impressed and dissapointed at the same time. The graphics and the controls were amazing, loved the police chases, hated the upgrade interface. I had to remind myself that it was not NFS: U3. It's more like a sequel to Hot Pursuit with some Underground additions, kind of like a Under Pursuit. : )

Bought a friend of mine parts for a computer for Christmas, should be here Friday if UPS is correct. Used Newegg.com. I pretty much always use Newegg. Got myself some new things as well. :D New case, DVD-ROM, got a new HDD to put in also, and a new XP cd with SP2.

Gonna get for now, I'll try to make my posts with less than 6 months of a gap : )

Sick? Or just sick and tired?

Called in tonight at work, my whole body hurt, or was sore, not really sure, but whatever it was, I didn't like it. They had extra people still availiable, so I had one cover my sift. So here I am eating Taco Bell at 2 am, wondering what game to play or what show to watch. I have a few computers I could work on, but don't really feel like working right now. I'd rather do something relaxing. I've allready worked nearly 30 hours in 2 days and really don't feel like doing anything that requires tought.

Frank was happy with the guitar we sent him. I'm so relieved. I don't know what we would have done if he wanted to send it back. Marshal ended up with a net profit of $1,300 after he paid for the fees and gave me $200. I still have quite a few things to list on eBay, not sure when it will get done. Maybe Saturday I'll spend some time with that.

Think I'll turn on Need for Speed Underground 2. Prettly close to finishing it. I bought Call of Duty for $2.00 on eBay, shipping is of course $7.00, but that's still a good price for the game when Wal-Mart has it for $19.99. I think they have the expansion pack with it though, not sure.

Tired

Well...it's a bit before 5 pm on Thrusday, but I guess you would know that from the date and time stamp on the post. I just got home for the 2nd time today. Got to work at 11 last night, got home around 9, and went to my 2nd job around 11 am. I don't know how much longer I really want to do this 2nd job, I only work about 10 hours a week, but it's getting in the way more than helping. My home is getting ignored, my yard is looking like a jungle and I seem to be tired and angry most of the time.

I'm still working on how to really get the hang of using this thing, so if you have any suggestions don't hesitate to leave me a message. I'll post more later, gonna go eat my Taco Bell before my crunchy tacos get soft.

Yahoo!!!! I think I got this thing to work finally. Didn't even have to read the instructions.! HA!
Can I say "Yahoo!!" ? Is that a trademark now? Did they copyright that? Should I change it to "Yippee!!!" ?

Oh well...like anyone will ever see this anyway.

Ok...time for some real posting.

A guitar that my brother in law and I sold last month finally arrived in Holland yesterday. It's a 1955 Guild X-375, looked really cool. Sold it on eBay for $1500 and change. Shipping was only $82 using Global Express. But it did take about 3 weeks. UPS said they could get it there in 3-5 days but it would be $600. Yeah right, as if. I might spend that much on shipping if it were a freaking CAR!!! They need to put down the crack pipe. They said it would take so much to mail it because of the size, not the weight. We couldn't find a guitar box large enough for the 17 inch bout, so we had to makeshift a box. It ended up being as large as a small refridgerator. EEEK.

Hmmm

Hmm....Forgot I had this thing here. I just saw Tommy's blog a few minutes ago and it looked a lot like one I set up over a year ago, and sure enough, same website. Thought I would see if it was still here, and guess what, it is! Yeah. Now I'll be able to sleep soundly knowing that my first efforts of blog making are not erased forever.

Not quite sure yet on how to open this up to allow others to make a comment. I'm sure if I play around with it a bit, (or actually read the instructions) that I'll figure it out soon enough. Maybe even before anyone sees it.

Welcome to my new Blog, I just created it to find out what all the excitment is about these new programs. Perhaps Blogs have been around for years, but only recently making themselves accessable to the public. In any case, I just read about them last month in PC World and found a free one while using Google Toolbar. Not real sure yet what I'm going to use it for. It kinda looks like a forum with only one thread.
